San Francisco 49ers’ tight end George Kittle reveals his Spider-Man cosplay dream to Kevin Hart in an exclusive clip from Cold as Balls.

San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle has revealed that he is a major Spider-Man fan and that the Marvel character would be his dream cosplay costume in a new interview with comedian Kevin Hart.

Kittle discussed his love for comics and greater nerd culture with Hart in an exclusive clip from Cold as Balls. “I need to go to Comic-Con though. It’s something that I really want to go to,” the National Football League tight end for the 49ers told Hart. When asked if he would show up to Comic-Con in cosplay, Kittle confidently replied, “Damn straight I would. I would dress up as Spider-Man for Comic-Con, I will say that.” The football player even demonstrated his impressive “thwip” effects, perfectly mimicking the iconic sound that is written on the pages of the comics when Spider-Man uses his web-shooter.

Although Kittle, who has played on the 49ers in the NFL since 2017, didn’t reveal when he hoped to attend Comic-Con, he might want to miss this year’s convention in San Diego if he was planning on going. Marvel Studios has confirmed they will not be attending the 2022 convention, meaning there will be no major Marvel presence this year. Marvel is instead expected to take part in Disney’s D23 Expo 2022 and any major announcements that were supposed to take place during Comic-Con will most likely take place at D23.

Kittle also showed a comedic side of himself in the interview. After Hart revealed that he would never play a superhero, Kittle asked the comedian, “Would you be Black Adam?” Hart is close friends with Dwayne Johnson, who is set to make his superhero debut as the titular DC anti-hero in Black Adam later this year. The two friends are known for light-heartedly joking and roasting each other’s body of work.

Cold as Balls Season 6 premiered on May 10 and will run for eight episodes. Each episode finds Hart back in the locker room interviewing a new all-star guest while submerged in an ice bath. This season of Cold as Balls has been described as “bigger and icier than ever” giving audiences a chance to deep diver into the minds of their favorite athletes. WWE Superstar and The Mandalorian star Sasha Banks appeared earlier in the season as a guest, which included a Star Wars lightsaber duel between Hart and herself.

Kittle’s episode of Cold as Balls airs Tuesday, June 14 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
